Shipping Policy

Last updated: 18 September 2026

This page explains how DPD Mails handles collection, delivery, packaging, and tracking for your shipments.

1. Service area

We currently ship within the UK, Europe, and to select international destinations. Contact support@dpdmails.com to confirm coverage for your destination.

2. Collection and delivery

We collect parcels from the address provided at booking and deliver to the destination address you specify. Please ensure someone is available to hand off or receive the parcel, or provide clear delivery instructions (e.g. safe place, neighbour).

3. Packaging

Please ensure items are packaged securely enough to withstand normal transit handling. DPD Mails can offer packaging guidance on request. Outer packaging is kept plain and unbranded, showing only the delivery label and tracking code.

4. Weight and size

Please provide accurate weight and dimensions at booking. If the actual parcel differs significantly from what was declared, we may need to adjust the price or contact you before proceeding.

5. Tracking

Every shipment is assigned a unique tracking number. You can check status anytime at dpdmails.com/track.php. We also send email updates when your shipment's status changes (e.g. in transit, out for delivery, delivered).

6. Delivery attempts

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, we will leave a card with redelivery instructions and attempt delivery again the next working day. If delivery fails a second time, the parcel will be held at a local pickup point for 5 working days before being returned to sender.

7. Delays

While we aim to meet quoted delivery times, delays can occur due to customs processing, weather, or circumstances beyond our control. We'll keep you informed via tracking and email if a delay affects your shipment.

8. Lost or damaged parcels

If your parcel arrives damaged or doesn't arrive within the expected timeframe, contact support@dpdmails.com with your tracking number as soon as possible so we can investigate.

9. International shipments

For international deliveries, the recipient may be responsible for import duties, taxes, or customs fees, which are separate from our shipping charges and set by the destination country.
